QuietYield Privacy Policy

QuietYield is an educational and analytical companion for options income. It is not a broker-dealer or investment adviser and never places, changes, or cancels orders.

What we collect

• Account: your email address, for sign-in.
• Financial records you provide: stock holdings, option positions, cash amounts, and trade outcomes you enter.
• Brokerage data you connect: if you link a brokerage through SnapTrade, we receive your holdings, positions, and transaction history from that account. We never see or store your brokerage password; the connection is authorized at your broker and can be severed any time in Settings.
• Preferences: your risk profile answers, notification switches, and learning progress.

How we use it

Solely to run the product: showing your positions marked to market, generating rules-based contract ideas from your own risk profile, and computing your income record. Aggregated, pseudonymous usage analytics help us improve the product. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to track you across other apps.

Where it lives

Data is stored on Google Cloud (Firestore and BigQuery) in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest. Market data comes from marketdata.app; brokerage connectivity from SnapTrade — each receives only what is necessary to provide their service.

Deleting your data

Settings → App & account → “Delete my account and record” erases your account, every stored record, and severs all brokerage connections. This is immediate and irreversible.
